To be eligible to apply under this category,
You must obtain a relevant State/Territory
sponsorship;
You are a successful businessperson;
For at least 2 of the 4 fiscal years immediately before the
application is made, You & your spouse beneficially own a business,
or businesses with a total annual turnover of not less than A$300,000;
You & your spouse have a combined, legally acquired assets
(business & personal) with a minimum value of A$250,000, that
are transferable to Australia within 2 years of the grant of a S/T
Business Owner (Provisional);
You & your spouse are capable of self supporting financially
in Australia;
You are not older than 55 years of age at time of application
or your business proposal would add exceptional economic value to
the target region;
You are not in the business of mainly providing professional,
technical or trade services;
Both you and/or your spouse had never been involved in any
undesirable commercial/investment activities that would have been
unacceptable in Australia;
You fulfill/undertake to fulfill all the requirements in relation
to business participation, investment commitments, etc in Australia
within the prescribed timeframe. |
